West Ham have issued an "indefinite" ban to a fan who sparked an altercation with West Brom's Jake Livermore by way of commenting in regards to the demise of his toddler son.

The Hammers stated the person "violated a number of ground regulations" throughout their 2-1 win in opposition to the Baggies at London Stadium on 2 January.

Livermore, 28, have shyed away from Football Association disciplinary motion.

"Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated," stated a West Ham spokesman.
